About Us
Sharon Davis is an avid outdoorswoman who is passionate about hiking, facilitating group discussions, running, mountain biking and has been a dedicated yoga student for 10 years. She believes that much healing, self-reflection and happiness can be found in the woods, especially hiking! She and her husband climbed the Anna Perna circuit, the highest trekking pass in Thurlong La, Nepal, in 2004. She continues to enjoy the many beautiful summits of Vermont and New Hampshire as often as possible! She graduated from the University of Denver with a Master’s of Social Work degree in 2000. She currently works at the Center for Crime Victim Services and co-facilitates the survivor support group, “A Healing Journey” at HOPE Works (formerly the Woman's Rape Crisis Center), in Burlington, VT.
Abbi Jaffe has been creating spaces for exploration and expansion since her days of leading Outward Bound
wilderness trips over 11 years ago. Abbi grew up in the coastal plains of Virginia and moved to Vermont in 1999 to embrace the support she feels around mountains.
For three years, she worked full time as a wilderness instructor for Outward Bound (Maine/Oregon/California) in the summer and for a primitive skills at-risk youth program in the winter desert of Utah. After studying social work at the University of Vermont, Abbi helped the City of Burlington create a Parallel Justice system for victims of crime. Abbi has been teaching yoga for over 10 years and has been teaching contact improvisational dance and embodiment for 3 years.
Abbi embodies authenticity and playfulness, dances as often as possible, and will always sit and meditate with you if you ask. Learn more at dharmadoor.com
